I’m Mike to friends, Michael to family, and Mikey to people who’ve had a few drinks or anyone else who pleases. People often bring me around to document the good times.

When I entered the wedding world back in 2011, my work looked like everyone else’s. Soon after, I threw away the wedding industry cookie cutter and started photographing in a way that was true to myself, while encouraging my clients to be themselves as well–EVERYTHING CHANGED.

I got freedom and gave my clients freedom, my voice became unique to me, and it pulled out the uniqueness of my couples. It stopped feeling like a job and more like a meaningful celebration with people I enjoyed being with.

So this is my gift to you on your wedding day. Be yourself unapologetically, love on your friends and family in the way that only you can, and your photos will be a reflection of what it truly felt like.
